Sligo Gospel Choir was formed in 2010 and sings gospel music.
More +They are a non-auditioning, three-part choir. An independent community choir, SGC is informal and social by nature, and takes part in church, community and charity events. The Musical Director is Richard Mitchell. Practices take place on Thursday nights.
Sligo Orpheus Choir is a friendly organization drawn from all sections of our community dedicated to encouraging the musical talents of members at every level of ability.
More +Membership of the Choir is open to anyone who loves to sing, wishes to expand his or her musical repertoire, and wants to become a better choral singer. Rehearsals are Tuesday nights 7.30 to 9.15 Ballinode College Clarion Road.
Community choir, we sing for the pleasure of it, no competitions. We perform in community venues, we join with our local Active Age group to sing on the beach for The Dawn Chorus. We are a friendly, welcoming group. We welcome new members.
