Aspiro, formed in 1997 by Mary Amond OBrien, offers a musical education of the highest artistic standards through the medium of choral music to young people in Carlow and surrounding counties.

Aspiro caters for boys and girls aged 7 to 18 who experience a broad range of repertoire that provides musical challenges along a progressions path from Junior, Intermediate, Male Voice Squad and Senior. The senior ensemble (SATB) is the main concert and touring ensemble and meet twice a week, all other ensembles meet once a week.

Carlow Choral Society formed in 1965 is a premier community choir based in Carlow Town dedicated to quality performance of choral music.

An mixed chorus of approximately 80 members from diverse backgrounds who are drawn to the organization for both its commitment to performing great choral works together, but by fostering a supportive network of social community.
Based in Carlow Town they have members from Wexford, Kilkenny and Kildare. They continually welcome new singers while valuing those individuals who have been long-term members. A dedicated group of singers who form lifelong friendships through their shared love of music.

Carlow Voices

Carlow Voices

Carlow Voices was established in 2002. It is a mixed SATB community-based choir in the Carlow area, created to provide an opportunity for singers to enjoy a challenging and rewarding musical experience.

This choir aims to provide a wide repertoire of choral music and prides itself on the quality and diversity of the music it performs with a repertoire which ranges from Classic to Contemporary, Secular & Religious, World & Irish music.

The Vision of Carlow voices is that singing enriches those who sing and those who Listen. It is their mission that Carlow Voices aim to enrich its members through the enjoyable act of singing together with an individual commitment to be the best that they can be.

The choir rehearse every Tuesday 8-10pm in Scoil Muire, Carlow Town. New members are taken at the choirs discretion and are encouraged to have the ability to sight read music.
