Conductors Study Tour 2019

19-25 October 2019

Presented by Sing Ireland and an activity promoted by the European Choral Association - Europa Cantat

Sing Ireland will run a study tour in partnership with the City of Derry International Choir Festival which will immerse conductors in the choral music of Ireland, a country with a strong choral and folk song tradition, that in recent years has seen a rejuvenation with many composers writing choral music.

The study tour will be in the historic and beautiful city of Derry and will give participants an experience of Ireland and of Irish Choral music in partnership with the Contemporary Music Centre, and the possibility to be in Derry for the beginning of the festival in 2019.
