Dublin City Choral Unions Auditions

Thursday, August 29th

Dublin City Centre

Dublin City Choral Union
Dublin City Choral Union will be holding auditions for all parts (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) on the evening of Thursday 29 August. The choir is a sight-reading choir however this is not an absolute requirement when applying to audition as line-tapes are created for all choristers, if they wish, to learn their music by ear. However, considerable time and commitment is expected to learn and study your music at home prior to rehearsals each week. Dublin City Choral Union was founded in June 2018, under the artistic direction of Duncan Brickenden. With over 90 members, the choir prides itself on its symphonic sound and energy, performing repertoire which ranges from sacred motets to large scale oratorio, gospel, and beyond. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 19:00-21:15 in Molesworth Hall, St. Ann’s Church, Dawson Street. To apply for an audition, please email dublincitychoralunion@gmail.com
